Britney Spears' career appeared to be headed south around 2007, when she was getting blacked-out drunk and posing for topless photos that leaked yesterday.

Now, with the help of a conservatorship headed by her dad, a new album and a massively successful tour, the superstar is literally headed south - to Australia!

"I've wanted to tour Australia for some time and now it's finally happening. My Circus tour is the best show I have ever created and I can't wait to perform it for all my Australian fans. See you guys soon!" exclaims Britney's publicist on her site

The S&M Show Circus Starring Britney Spears is set to invade Australia.

As we've seen in Circus tour photos throughout the year, Britney Spears' live shows feature a dazzling display of music, dance, magic and wardrobe malfunctions.

The worldwide extravaganza kicked-off in New Orleans, La., on March 3, 2009, and went on to be the highest grossing tour of 2009 in North America to date.

Britney Spears is currently touring in London to rave reviews.
